Core Subscription

You can brew 16-18 cups per 250g box of coffee.

Core is aimed at those who prefer a more classic tasting coffee (not high acidity, fruity/funky) but want to avoid bitter, over-roasted coffee that other roasters market as a 'classic' taste. Core takes coffees that naturally possess a chocolatey, nutty, low-acidity profile and delicately roasts them to best showcase their characteristics and leave you with a true example of a classic tasting cup.

Core is suitable for all brew methods.

Dark Matter coffee is to be drunk and enjoyed by everyone regardless of your brewing experience.

Each monthly coffee will arrive between the 2nd & 5th of each month (you will receive tracked shipping). Dark Matter roast once a month on the first day of each month. No more, no less. Coffee will ship either the same day or, the following day and arrive within 5 working days.

Up to 1 month from the roast date if kept in an airtight container. We recommend getting an airtight container such as an airscape but, even a tuppaware container will work.

Unlike the Nova subscription, which changes monthly, the Core subscription changes seasonally. This means we change the coffee as each coffee producing part of the world enters and leaves its harvesting season. We curate each seasonal single origin to match a similar flavour profile that fits the identity of Core.

Core customers can cancel, edit and pause their subscription at any time. Too much coffee? Skip a month. Family visiting next month? Add an extra bag. Want to cancel? No problem. All can be achieved via core subscriber's online portal.
